Early Learning (KG1) – awakening

The foundation for your child’s formal education and personal growth in the years to come is laid.

The Victoria International School of Sharjah is now accepting enrolments for children to attend Early Learning (KG 1) from September 2, 2007.

Many children attend KG1 during their early childhood, and benefit significantly from the social interaction they have with other young people and adults. KG1 prepares them effectively for formal education and personal growth in future years.

The school’s KG1 program recognises that your child’s learning is most fruitful when their interests and needs are considered, and we will take the time to adapt our approach to suit their individual learning requirements.

Field trips are encouraged, to broaden you child’s view of the world, and special events such as festivals and family days provide a context for learning.

Understanding your child’s cultural and social background, to gain a holistic picture of their needs, is a priority for our highly qualified early childhood teachers. Children at this level experience a purposeful, structured curriculum that exposes them to a variety of subjects they will encounter when they start KG2.

Children love to experiment, explore the natural environment and learn through play and KG1 provides a fun and stimulating environment for your child to begin the journey of lifelong learning.
